Loggerhead Marinelife Center facility houses a variety of exhibits, live sea turtles and other coastal creatures.   The 12,000 square foot certified “green” facility includes a state-of-the-art full service veterinary hospital, exhibit hall, outdoor classroom, research lab, and resource center and gift shop.

The Manatee Observation and Education Center is a waterfront environmental education and wildlife viewing center located on Florida's east coast in beautiful downtown Fort Pierce. The Center lies just west of the Atlantic ocean and overlooks the nationally recognized Indian River Lagoon, a saltwater estuary, and Moore's Creek, a freshwater tributary and historical resting spot for the Florida manatee.

Today, our Teaching Artists work with thousands of children in schools and after-school programs throughout the County, as well as at our Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
